RIP Charles Aznavour
Charles Aznavour passed away today, at the age of 94 years...
The French-Armenian tenor, is often referred to as France's Frank Sinatra and I concur! He was sensational and sang with great passion.
Aznavour was a universal singer because he sang in so many languages - French, Armenian, English, Russian, Italian, Spanish and German - and through them, reached many hearts, as he did mine.
May he rest in peace...
What Is Your Favourite Aznavour Song?
I haven't listened to him much because I usually listen to English classics but if I had to choose, La Boheme is my favourite.
I love the Edith Piaf duet he sang called C'est un Gars as well, but I need to listen to more.

I didn’t know they called him the French Frank Sinatra but that’s exactly what I thought...his voice was beautiful and relaxing because he made it seem so easy and soothing.
ReplyDeleteDon’t know what my favourite song would be because I need to listen to more, and it’s also hard to choose because every song I did hear was great.
